El senador José Arista, exministro de Economía, emitió su voto.
La senadora Agripina Flores Córdova, del Partido Cívico Obras, mostró la cédula de sufragio tras emitir su voto.
Ahora es el turno de Patricia Juárez, quien ya emite su voto.
Alejandro Muñante es el tercer senador llamado para votar en la sesión.
Miguel Torres es el segundo senador en emitir su voto.
El senador Fernando Rospigliosi (Fuerza Popular) es el primero en ejercer su voto.
La sesión se suspende por breve término mientras las senadoras escrutadoras firman las cédulas de votación.
Las senadoras Patricia Juárez (Fuerza Popular) y Agripina Flores (Obras) fueron elegidas como escrutadoras para este proceso de elección.
- La Lista 2 la conforman Daniel Barragán (presidencia), Jaime Quito (primera vicepresidencia), Jaime Delgado (segunda vicepresidencia) y Nora Bonifaz (tercera vicepresidencia).

De cumplirse con el horario estipulado, la sesión debería comenzar en poco más de 10 minutos.
Los senadores ya han ido llegando a la sede del Parlamento para participar en las elecciones de la Mesa Directiva para el periodo de funciones 2026-2027.

La Lista 1 está integrada por Jesús Reto (presidencia), Anali Márquez (primera vicepresidencia), Harvey Colchado (segunda vicepresidencia) y José Yataco (tercera vicepresidencia).
La Lista 2 la conforman Daniel Barragán (presidencia), Jaime Quito (primera vicepresidencia), Jaime Delgado (segunda vicepresidencia) y Nora Bonifaz (tercera vicepresidencia).

La Lista 1 está integrada por Miguel Torres (presidencia), Alejandro Muñante (primera vicepresidencia), Nilza Chacón (segunda vicepresidencia) y Estanislao Mancha (tercera vicepresidencia).
Posteriormente, a las 5:00 p.m., se desarrollará de manera presencial la elección de la Mesa Directiva de la Cámara de Diputados.
La elección del Senado se realizará primero. La sesión comenzará al mediodía (12:00 p.m.) y los senadores elegirán al presidente de la cámara, así como a quienes ocuparán la primera, segunda y tercera vicepresidencia.
El Congreso bicameral elegirá este domingo a los presidentes y vicepresidentes de las Mesas Directivas de la Cámara de Diputados y del Senado para el período legislativo 2026-2027.
